Ira Thompson

Celebrated as the father of Museums in the Cayman Islands, Ira Thompson, collected most everything.   As a hobbyist, avid birdwatcher, and taxi man, Ira travelled extensively throughout Grand Cayman returning his eclectic acquisitions to be showcased in his Kiemanos Museum in the early 1930s.   Below are 5 images of objects from Mr. Ira's collection.
