Basketry Collection
Amassed since 1998, the Museum's basketry collection is comprised of over 100 items made from the Silver Thatch Palm. Noticeably absent from the Ira Thompson Collection, these largely utilitarian items, serve as examples of women's contribution to our history. The collection contains both traditional and contemporary designs.
