The Cayman Islands National Museum is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its annual Immerse Summer Camp, which this year was extended to four weeks due to popular demand. Sponsored by the CICSA Credit Union Cayman, the camp provided campers, ages 7-14, with weeks of immersive adventure and hands-on learning.

This year’s campers had the unique opportunity to explore Cayman’s rich history and natural beauty by visiting iconic landmarks such as Pedro St. James Castle and Mission House in Bodden Town, while also enjoying the island’s vibrant wildlife at the Cayman Parrot Sanctuary and Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. The Nautilus Semi-Submarine tour added an exciting underwater exploration to the camp’s itinerary, offering participants a rare glimpse into Cayman’s marine life.

The extension of the camp this year allowed even more young participants to engage in activities designed to deepen their understanding of Cayman’s cultural heritage and environment. This successful expansion was made possible by the invaluable support of our volunteers, to whom we extend a heartfelt thank you for their dedication and enthusiasm.

The Museum is also deeply grateful to our generous sponsor, CICSA Credit Union Cayman, for their continued support in making this educational experience a reality for our community’s youth.
