The Board of the Cayman Islands National Museum recently hosted a luncheon to express their gratitude to Craig Merren, OLY, for his service as Chair, a position he stepped down from in September. Held on November 22 at the Sea Harvest restaurant, the event was attended by the Museum Board, Senior Staff, and featured Mr. Merren as the guest of honour.

During her remarks, acting Chair Susan Arch-Parson acknowledged Mr. Merren's invaluable leadership, stating, “Since joining the Board in 2019 and subsequently stepping up as Chair, you have been a guiding force, leading the Museum through a period of significant growth and success.” In response, Mr. Merren expressed his thanks to the Board and Staff for their unwavering support, dedication, and hard work. He also took the opportunity to warmly welcome the Museum’s new Director, Dr. Veerle Poupeye.
